I just wanted to thank everyone who made it out on Friday.
Overall the first Obamarama Night was a success. We didn't raise as much as I had hoped, but we managed to raise $400.00! And the great thing about it is, we raised $400 without anyone breaking the bank, or breaking a sweat... The money was basically generated from thin air.
We turned a night of drinking and socializing into something productive, and I hope everyone had as good a time as I did.

Obamarama Nights is a series of fundraiser nights for Barack Obama's Presidental campaign.
The objective is to raise small donations from people who don't typically make campaign contributions (through cover charges, tips, cash bars, etc.) We can turn the money you're already spending at the bar into a positive!
We could all use a drink every now and then - you might as well come out and have a drink for a good cause!
And if you want to help in any way at all, contact me! I am looking for participating bars, drink donations, bartenders, graphic designers, party spaces, and emotional support.
