$20 minimum donation buys unlimited beer
DJ Spinello will be spinning his "Audacity of Funk" mix
There will be a Rock Band 2 room
Beer provided by Kelso of Brooklyn (beerhelps.net)
Come out and be pro-active while socializing with good people!

Obamarama Night 2 will be held on October 10th! It will be at an awesome loft in Manhattan (around 37th st & 8th ave)...

The plan right now is for it to be $20 minimum donation to Obama, and that buys you unlimited beer (hopefully some other drinks too, working on donations now - let me know if you know anyone with booze to donate).

Bryan Spinello will be DJ'ing, and there will be a Rock Band 2 room, with a huge TV.

Will be posting a Facebook event, and an event on my.barackobama.com as things progress...

Also, if anyone wants to help me out, I could definitely use some help on the weekend of October 4th, and probably on a weeknight or 2 between October 5th-10th... I especially need help from strong people who can help move kegs, so please e-mail me if you're willing to donate a couple hours to the cause!

Obviously, the more people you bring, the more we're donating to Obama, so please bring lots of friends!

Ladies and gentlemen-

The state of Obamarama is strong.

The first Obamarama Night was a big success... We raised $400 in 5 easy hours, and as far as I know, everyone had a nice time.

But I think we can do more. I think we can have more drinks, have more fun, and raise more money. So it is my pleasure to announce to you: OBAMARAMA NIGHT 2: UNITED!

I just wanted to thank everyone who made it out on Friday.

Overall the first Obamarama Night was a success. We didn't raise as much as I had hoped, but we managed to raise $400.00! And the great thing about it is, we raised $400 without anyone breaking the bank, or breaking a sweat... The money was basically generated from thin air.

We turned a night of drinking and socializing into something productive, and I hope everyone had as good a time as I did.

My ladyfriend and I will be bartending from 5PM-10PM, and our tips will go straight to the Obama campaign.

What is Obamarama Nights?

Obamarama Nights is a series of fundraiser nights for Barack Obama's Presidental campaign.

The objective is to raise small donations from people who don't typically make campaign contributions (through cover charges, tips, cash bars, etc.) We can turn the money you're already spending at the bar into a positive!

We could all use a drink every now and then - you might as well come out and have a drink for a good cause!

And if you want to help in any way at all, contact me! I am looking for participating bars, drink donations, bartenders, graphic designers, party spaces, and emotional support.
